In 1579 When it was first build, it was made of sections like a mosque, a fountain, a caravansary, a children’s school, a double- function bathhouse, stores and a soup kitchen. Only the mosque, fountain and children’s school survived up to today. The mosque which constitutes the center of the complex has a single dome and is designed as a rectangle. Squinches were used fro transition to the dome. Four raker arches support the squinches from four corners determined from the exterior. The building the main exterior walls of which are very high two trimmers at the transition point to the dome. This was an experimental application of Architect Sinan which was used also in some other works of him and it creates a feeling of highness. The final meeting point which includes five niches was slightly is slightly effused to the sides and surrounded by a wide porch. Although the pulpit was painted and veneered later, the pulpit and altar of the mosque are original. There is a dodecagon fountain in the middle of the arcade and another fountain in the southwest. The children’s school within the arcade is currently used as a Quran course.
